Today, when I woke up, I sensed some difference in the air.
When I had woken up on the right side of my bed (as a matter of fact, there is only right side - on the left side, there is this wall!), the Sun was already out. Yet it was not as bright as it usually is. The reason was obvious when I looked out of the window (and not at the clock, mind you).
The fog blanket had covered the visible skyline.
And then I noted, winter was here. It is perhaps early from the four-month season cycle of India, yet I don't mind. As I would say to the rains: better early than late, the same would apply to the winter.
And with that thought still floating around, I let my water geyser to function five minutes more than the usual.
