Haikus of Solitude

In the woods, beyond the mountain
With evening breeze, for nobody-
Enlightenment came.

The shooting star.
Oh, how I wish-
My wish be granted!

In the lonely sky.
The rainbow misses-
An admirer.

An aged lion, past his prime-
The cubs want-
Rabbit on the moon.

Truly majestic mountain.
I can't catch-
Echoes of my own thought.

Billions of stars.
Yet, I feel lonely-
As the moon has vanished.
