It was dramatic. For almost an hour and half, at the Brit Oval, Pakistan Cricket team played for their honour. Not on the field, but off it. As I was watching it live, I thought it contained more drama than during actual cricket match. There were legal discussions, players discussing behind closed doors and match officials trying to arrive at a fruitful solution with careful diplomacy.
Cricket rules were researched, and what applied and what not was thoroughly discussed. Commentators talked about spirit of the game and righteousness of attitude from all the points of views. They talked about the facts and presumptions, etc. etc. Overall, it was an entertaining hour and half of non-cricket.
Truly, a Hair raising Inzident, I would observe!
