Why writer?

British/American surnames are funny. There are Psmiths and Smiths, Browns and Reds, Whites and Blacks, Grays and Blues (no, not Blues or Yellows, thankfully). Then there are Singers, Butchers, Cooks, ... etc etc.

When I came across this corporation's name, that moved by things from one office building to the other, I was rather confused. What had a writer to do with relocations, was my innocent query. A writer is constantly relocating in his own universe and trying to take her readers everywhere she goes, but, naming a relocation business over a writer was a bit too much to my imagination.

Sooner, I realised that the first letter of that word needed to be capitalised. And hopefully, my guess is correct.
