The annual Bangalore Book Festival is on at the Palace Grounds till the next weekend. So, if you missed the chance of visiting it over the last weekend, next weekend would be your last chance this year.
I thought the book collection this year was not up to the mark. It was quite crowded; which means you don't get enough time to get closer to new books before deciding to buy. I bought 'To Sir With Love,' an autobiography. There is a movie with the same name starring the great Sidney Poitier.
If you do not have the time and/or energy to travel as far as the Palace Grounds, there is another opportunity to go book buying. The Crossword bookstore is holding a book sale till December 10th. Well organised and well maintained collection are two plus points for the Crossword.
So, go book buying!
