This pirate community continues to amuse me. It seems like along the coast of Somalia, pirates have been a continued menace. In this news story, the agencies report that a suspect pirate ship was captured by the navy. I went through this story reported in yesterday The Hindu, but could not locate details on whether the pirate ship sank in the battle, with a photo of the chief clinging on to a wooden log with the parrot complaining of discomfort!
I had posted this article sometime ago, which was triggered by a news story reporting pirates were using advanced rocket launchers to attack merchant ships.
I wonder if any news channel has taken pain to cover this news, live or otherwise. It would be fun watching the encounter!
